Step It Up N Go (a step backwards)
I used this podcast on Thursday to run a 5 mile stretch and I felt like this one was being phoned in. The first 2 songs very quite slow and almost depressing. There was another song that sounded like something off of Radiohead's "Kid A" album that was slow and not inspiring. Maybe I'm holding on too much to that mix from a few weeks ago (Rejuv-A-motioN) that I absolutely LOVED and made me a return customer here. But I also understand the need to experiment and variety IS the spice of life. I just needed something more than that the other day. I'm sure it is hard to make a place for yourself here when most running music sounds a lot alike.
E-exercise revolution shaping up
From medicinenet.com
If you've been way too sedentary lately, you're not alone. More than half of Americans aren't active enough to meet the U.S. government recommendation for exercise -- at least 30 minutes of moderate-intensity activity most days of the week.
Excuses run the gamut, but getting bored is a biggie.
And now, that excuse is becoming pretty passé.

fitPod presents "Mercurial" (165bpm) - an exclusive Podrunner workout mix from dj steveboy
(OK, you have to read this out loud like a Top 40 DJ) When the mercury's climbing and you're pounding the pavement, "Mercurial" is the mix that heats the beats to beat the heat -- you heard it first here on Podrunner, the biiiig PR!

Rebuild Your Body With Hypnosis - from Men's Health
We sent a 150-pound weakling to headshrinker Pete Siegel to see if hypnotherapy can help you build more muscle
By Grant Stoddard. I met hypnotherapist Pete Siegel at a luxury hotel in Santa Monica. I can't tell you which one; Pete issued a gag order. Because he outweighs me by 150 pounds, and because he can manipulate my brain at will (even over the phone), I'll keep his secret. Or, rather, the secrets of his client list.
